Renewal
Trinity has a year-round program of stewardship which we call Giving and Gratitude. As members of this parish, we each recognize the abundance that has been given to us and seek to respond with gratitude and generosity by sharing our money, time, talents and spiritual gifts with our church community and the world at large. Giving in this way represents an act of faith in God's continued generosity to us, as a form of support and encouragement for our ministries and staff, and as an expression of hope for our future as we invest in outcomes that future generations will get to experience.
This includes our annual giving campaign, which kicks off each fall, as well as opportunities for planned giving such as bequests. We encourage tax-advantaged giving when possible including donations of appreciated stock, use of donor advised funds, and qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) from IRAs in addition to traditional weekly or monthly pledging.
On the third Sunday of the month any funds collected in the offering plate that are not designated as pledge payments are given to the Rector's Discretionary Fund. We use that fund to respond to emergency needs in the community.

Thank you for planting Trinity's next season!

From the Treasurer...

As we enter the last quarter of the year and consider our financial support for next year, please know that Trinity is able to accept contributions in a variety of ways. Many of you pay pledges either by check or through a recurring online payment on Realm or through bill pay.
Alternatively, if you plan to pay a pledge with a stock donation, please reach out to the office for transfer instructions and to let us know the applicable pledge year. Donating appreciated stock may provide tax benefits to the donor and can be donated this year in fulfillment of a pledge for the coming year. Trinity also accepts contributions from Donor-Advised Funds as well as qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) from IRAs. Both can be tax-advantaged giving strategies. For those 73 and over, a QCD gift may reduce your IRA required minimum distribution. Also for those thinking beyond next year, consider including Trinity in your estate planning. As always, talk with your financial advisor to know what makes sense for you.
