Come Walk With Us
At Trinity, adult learning goes beyond traditional Bible study to explore more deeply the questions and concerns of today’s Christians. The shaping of Christian faith is a life-long journey (a journey we call “faith formation”) that strengthens our relationship with God, with other people who walk the way with us, and with people who we encounter in our daily life and work.
Trinity’s faith formation provides an opportunity for adults to connect by engaging in discussions that affirm their faith through fresh, exciting and interactive experiences. Trinity is a community that values all perspectives and seeks to meet each person where they are, never assuming we are starting at the same place. Respectful, open-minded exploration allows adults to go deeper together without judgment.
Teams of both lay and clergy build the program year (September–May) based on input from parishioners. All ideas for study are welcome! Prior topics include “What is resurrection?” Parker Palmer’s “Circle of Trust” as a model of deep listening practice, the Enneagram, and climate change.
We explore our faith and our relationship to God in many ways and through various program offerings.
Sundays | 9:15–10 am | Fireside Room
During the program year (September–May) adults are encouraged to grab a cup of coffee and come to the Fireside Room (9:15–10:00 am) for the Adult Forum, an opportunity to deepen knowledge of the Bible, to build relationships with each other, and to learn how to live as Christians in the world. The Forums are led by a team of both clergy and lay people and welcome all perspectives in an open-minded, respectful environment.
