First Nations Kitchen

Since 2012, Trinity’s Senior High Youth Group has led Trinity's commitment to the FNK ministry.  Each month, a blend of seasoned veterans and first-timers prepare, serve and share a meal with the local community.  "First Shift" starts at 1:30 p.m. and requires three or more adults to prep and cook the meal and to make the run to a nearby bakery to collect the artisan breads that are always on the table.  "Second Shift" volunteers are on site by 4:45 and include  9 - 12 youth and 3 - 4 adults who complete the set-up, greet guests, serve food and coffee, bus tables, share the meal, wash dishes, and finish all clean-up by about 7:30 p.m.
