Barbara moved to Minnesota in September, 2006 and joined the Trinity staff as parish administrator in July, 2009. She spent 20 years in the travel business and 17 running a small business and non-profit consulting company, additionally she has served as Lay Christian Education Director of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and Lay Chaplin and Religion & Life Skills teacher at The Episcopal School in Wichita Falls. Her volunteering interests include St. David’s Gifts & Greens, Loaves & Fishes, Families Moving Forward, EpiscoBuilders and Alliance for Vision Research’s A Night for Sight in Detroit.
She and her family enjoy hiking, skiing, cooking and traveling. Daughter, Jessie, graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South in May, 2010 and will leave mid-September to work for a year in Maseno Kenya through the Episcopal Church Center’s Young Adult Service Corps. Husband, Kurt, serves as GM of Woodhill Country Club.
